Tysons Corner Center, the largest retail mall in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, enhanced its new PenFed Plaza with a 3.9 mm Empire Exterior LED video screen from SNA Displays.
The 1.8-million-square-foot premier shopping center is managed by Macerich, an owner, operator, and developer of major retail properties, according to a press release. PenFed Plaza is a first-of-its-kind outdoor civic space in the Tysons area of McLean, Virginia.
The large-format video display measures 15 foot by 6 inches x 32 feet by 9 inches (1,216 x 2,560 pixels) and processes just over 3.1 million pixels.
"PenFed Plaza at Tysons Corner offers high-impact community programming and a property-wide media network that delivers exceptional reach and exposure to a ready-to-spend audience," Jack Hsieh, president and CEO of Macerich, said in the release. "As a Fortress property within our portfolio, Tysons Corner Center serves as a first-to-market destination for top brands and retailers."
SNA Displays previously provided a large outdoor video board for the Tysons Corner Center parking garage façade.
