SNA Displays has refreshed the iconic lobby video wall, called "Salesforce waterfall," in San Francisco.
The LED video wall was initially constructed by SNA Diplay, stretches 106 feet across the lobby of Salesforce West, Salesforce's high rise at 50 Fremont Street.
SNA Displays replaced the technology with a tighter pixel pitch, giving the LED spectacular more than two and half times the pixel density. The new 12'7" tall video wall is a 2.5 mm Bold Interior dvLED that wraps around the lobby's elevator bays like its predecessor.
The upgraded display system processes approximately 16.4 million pixels across 1,106 square feet of digital canvas with a crystal-clear resolution of 1,530 x 12,960 pixels.
Designed by global architecture firm Gensler, one of the most critical elements of the retrofit was properly positioning the screen technology around the elevator entrances, allowing the video experience to become an important part of the physical lobby architecture without being intrusive.
Digital Dreams provided demolition and LED installation services.
