Visual Graphic Systems has installed digital video banners at concession stands throughout Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York City.
These 55-inch displays feature videos and images to show off food, merchandise, promotions and branded content, according to a press release.
The displays can feature 2-D and 3-D content, which is made in-house by Visual Graphic Systems. Stadium employees can control the content on the displays using a tablet or computer. Visual Graphic Systems plans to rollout a total of 196 video banner displays by April.
"The stadium noticed that just by putting the video displays up, they attracted more clients to those stands, thus raising their revenues," Frank Alvy, director of digital at Visual Graphic Systems, said in the release. "It worked out so well, they decided to have these displays installed above every concession stand."
The company had previously installed its Simplicity Menu Board System at the stadium. Employees use this system to update menu items, calorie information, videos, promotions and more on the stadium's menu boards.
