Digital signage provider launches NowSignage brand

EventBeat, a U.K.based provider of social signage, has launched its NowSignage brand, according to a company press release. NowSignage offers permanent digital signage to the commercial sector and is designed to combat concerns associated with traditional cloud-based digital signage.

"Over the past few years, our team has worked hard to establish the EventBeat platform as a trusted supplier at events for many of the world's biggest brands," said NowSignage Marketing Director Nick Johnson. "Using our experience from an events based background, we have already had to tackle and overcome issues surrounding poor wifi connection, over-engineered hardware and lack of technical support when broadcasting content via the cloud. Having spoken with the retail industry, these same concerns are very much prevalent with permanent signage."

The main features of the product are that it is app-based, not reliant on an internet connection to broadcast, compatible with all android devices and comes with a design and management service and 24/7 technical support.

NowSignage also has a team that can assist customers with the development and design of campaigns as well as manage a brand's signage. The team can update advertising and marketing material, and schedule it to broadcast on specific screens, the release said. In addition, the custom design service can create artwork, develop industry specific apps or widgets, or animate signage. Each client is given a dedicated account manager who works directly with the brand's marketing team.
