Here are some of the highlights from February's digital signage news.

This past month, we've taken a look at how tough it is to figure out just how big the digital out-of-home industry actually is, and we've highlighted how digital signage helped engage spectators at the country's biggest sports spectacle, the Super Bowl.

We've also highlighted how digital signage is expanding its presence in achitectural deployments, and examined the lessons provided by a nationwide digital signage deployment.

As usual, there were plenty of new product, new deployment and new partnership announcements, from a U.K. charity that rolled out a mobile-interactive digital billboard to both solicit and accept donations to a Texas McDonald's that deployed a digital signage nutrition-information kiosk that lets diners preview the nutritional information of their orders, before they make them.
