Digital signage in the spotlight at the NRF BIG Show

The annual National Retail Federation BIG Show sets the tone for the year as many companies are eager to showcase the technologies that are coming to a shopping environment near you in the next six to nine months. This year's BIG Show was no different.

Companies such as NEC Display Solutions, Lexmark and Samsung were in New York City to highlight existing and new products. Some of them are captured in this photo gallery. 

Some products of note include Lexmark's dive into the digital signage space after years of most of its business coming from the printer industry. Intel is working with a number of companies such as Samsung and others to incorporate technology into digital displays such as a "Smart Mirror." Many companies at the BIG Show also highlighted digital menu options for restaurants.
