Canadian pharmacy selects Dot2Dot Communications for digital signage network

PharmaChoice, a Canadian pharmacy, has selected Dot2Dot Communications Inc. to install a digital signage network at its locations. Dot2Dot will deploy its media management platform Ad Manager alongside Scala's digital signage software, according to a press release.

"After assessing a blend of specific needs, ranging from the strength and health of our network to making a customer-centric evaluation, we elected Dot2Dot Communications as the best candidate to guide us in reaching our digital signage vision," Calvin LeRoux, CEO, PharmaChoice East, said in the release. "The flexibility and overall simplicity of Scala is a key differentiator for us. Our independent pharmacy owners have a special need to educate and inform their customers, and this technology allows them to do that."

PharmaChoice West CEO Grady Brown said the digital signage will help the company provide infotainment and information to patients in the waiting area and encourage them to ask pharmacists about certain health issues.

"Ad Manager will not only help PharmaChoice find efficiency in scheduling and reporting, but will also provide their vendor community with more powerful tools to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of their in-store communication," Andy McRae, general manager of Dot2Dot, said in the release.
