Amazon Fire app turns any TV screen into digital signage display

Upshow is launching a free cloud-based, plug-and-play digital signage solution that works with an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Box to transforms TVs into digital signage, according to a company press release.

The Promo Display App creates a rotation of marketing content photos or videos, and is ideal for retail shops, bars, restaurants, gyms and events, according to the company.

The popularity of Amazon Fire TV devices made it an easy decision for UPshow to launch the app within the Amazon Fire TV App Store, said UPshow CMO Matt Gibbs.

"We knew Amazon built a great product that any consumer could set up on their TV in minutes, but we were pleasantly surprised to instantly see hundreds of business owners organically discovering and using the free promo display at their venues," Gibbs said.
