NEW YORK — Adspace Networks Inc., owner and operator of an in-mall digital advertising network, has expanded its Adspace Mall Network to include the Southland, Lakeside and Laurel Park Place malls in the Detroit market.
The Adspace Mall Network is a national network of digital displays called "Smart Screens" located throughout 45 upscale shopping malls in 14 markets across the United States.
The digital advertising network features programming called "Today's Top Ten," which showcases a mall's top 10 sales items that week. Each week, retailers in the mall compete to be featured on the screens by submitting their best deals including original prices and total savings. Adspace chooses the 10 best deals, and then produces each one into a 12-second spot, which is free to retailers.
In addition, Adspace Networks has also hired Trudi Wichlacz to serve as the regional sales manager in Detroit. Wichlacz comes to Adspace Networks with from Clear Channel Radio where she served as a retail account manager and worked with companies including Kroger, McDonald's and Metro Detroit Ford Dealers. Prior to her work with Clear Channel, Wichlacz worked as an account executive at Analysts International.
