X2O to show HTML5 platform, remote video and Instagram at DSE14
Developer of real-time visual communications software X2O Media will showcase its HTML5-based digital signage platform, remote video experts and social media at this year's Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas.
The latest Version of the HTML5-based X2O platform is designed to make it easier to create and publish rich media content channels to all screen types, including video walls of any size or resolution, the company said. Built using the HTML5 standard, the authoring application features intuitive drag-and-drop tools to let users quickly create media-rich channels from HD video, still images, 3D animations, PowerPoint slides and more.
X2O Media's X2O Remote Video Expert application allows instant video conferencing between customers and specialized customer service agents directly from interactive displays. And SharePoint TV on the X2O visual communications platform allows users to create TV-like channels based on content in the popular Microsoft SharePoint enterprise collaboration platform and automatically push them onto all screens across an organization, from digital signage displays to mobile devices and desktops.
"At DSE 2014, we will be highlighting the latest version of our HTML5-based X2O platform and demonstrating cutting-edge applications that showcase its unique capabilities and versatility," X2O Media President and CEO David Wilkins said in an announcement. "Visitors to our booth will experience the X2O Remote Video Expert application, which allows retail stores, health care facilities and more to optimize engagement through a live connection with the end-user. In addition, we will feature a video wall with numerous demos, including the latest version of our X2O Twitter Wall showing real-time, animated Tweets displayed in a dynamic shuffle style where Tweets fly on and off the screen. Not only will DSE visitors be able to view and share Tweets related to the event, but they'll also be able to upload their Instagram photos for display on the video wall."
