UIEvolution, ViewSonic partner to create combined hardware, software solution

UIEvolution announced that it has partnered with ViewSonic to create Smart Module Displays, an integrated hardware and software package that pulls together disparate display, processing and software components, according to a company press release.

ViewSonic said its solution, which is powered by ExperienceManager, UIEvolution's platform for guest entertainment and digital signage experiences, offers brands the fastest path to advanced digital signage and in-room entertainment solutions for any industry, including hospitality, retail, healthcare and civic spaces.

"We're excited to work with display technology leaders like ViewSonic to deliver the next generation of smart, connected experiences through digital signage and consumer displays," said UIEvolution Chief Product Officer and GM of Hospitality Travis Beaven. "This new partnership will enable engaging experiences for consumers and provide analytics and insights to businesses operating these displays."

UIEvolution's ExperienceManager for Digital Signage is a content management system. Editing, scheduling, workflow and analytics are built into one tool, providing users with options for photos, audio, video, 3D graphics and animations. Content can be targeted by audience, time or location, the release said.

Smart Module Displays support ViewSonic's displays that combine with internal or external media players. Displays feature edge-to-edge glass design and are available in a variety of hardware models, including touch-enabled kiosks for interactive applications.
