A Knox County (Tennessee) Chancery Court judge has ruled against allowing the conversion of two Knoxville, Tennessee, static billboards to digital by billboard operator Lamar Advertising Co., according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
The Chancellor's ruling sides with the city of Knoxville and continues to block Lamar from converting two billboards along Interstate 40. The Louisiana-based company wanted to convert its traditional vinyl billboard for digital advertising within Knoxville's city limits, and the company's attorney told the paper it would appeal the ruling.
