STRATACACHE subsidiary enVu launches DigitalPlay interactive platform

Out-of-home interactive media company enVu, a subsidiary of STRATACACHE, today announced the launch of its new DigitalPlay platform.

DigitalPlay turns any location into an attractive environment, the company said, and offers interactive experiences to connect consumers with brands via touch, mobile, social and augmented reality. It's designed to engage audiences and build connections, and to provide an outlet to advertise in malls, retail locations, special events, conventions and other high-traffic venues, according to the announcement.

This new product line offers interactive experiences featuring custom media walls, kiosks, storefront windows and an array of multidimensional and 3D event displays. With mobile and social network capabilities built into these experiences, consumers are able to connect on a greater level by sharing what they've experienced and building an ongoing brand-consumer relationship, generating greater brand awareness, the company said.

In addition to the new product line, enVu also offers valuable analytics and reporting technology for gathering social and mobile data to accurately measure the status of a campaign performance.

"Our parent company STRATACACHE is a leader in creating in-store digital media experiences," enVu Executive Vice President of Sales Jim Farrell said in the announcement. "We are now taking this technology to the advertising community and creating cost-effective, interactive experiences that engage and connect with the consumer."

STRATACACHE launched enVu in 2010 to manage its gestural interactive, digital out-of-home division.
