Sofitel Paris Baltimore hotel integrates digital signage into lobby

The Sofitel Paris Baltimore hotel in Paris has upgraded its lobby with digital signage from Christie. Christie deployed its Microtiles Welcome Wall video wall in the hotel lobby to share information and guest created content, according to a press release. The video wall is integrated with Float4's software.

The 9- by 7-foot tall video wall is designed to showcase the latest hotel news and allow guests to take selfies with an integrated photo booth. Managers can also share and update content on information on Paris.

Float4 is designed with RealMotion technology to render 3D simulations. Hotel staff manage the content on the display through Float4's content management system.

"Float4 was involved at both the strategic and tactical levels in this project. We provided a turnkey solution for the client from ideation to design, production and on-site integration,” Alexandre Simionescu, co-founder of Float4, said in the release. "We developed a content strategy that incorporates ambient visual content to make it informative as well as artistic. Beyond its ability to complement the aesthetics of the space, the Welcome Wall is a conduit between the local knowledge and the guest experience, which makes their hotel stay all the more unique."
