Sandton City Mall deploys digital signage for Women's Day

The Foschini Group deployed digital signage at the Sandton City Mall in Sandton, South Africa to celebrate Women's Day 2018 on March 8. The company selected Moving Tactics to craft an interactive display that allowed women to see themselves in the mirror and take a photo with an integrated DSLR camera and wide-angled GoPro Camera. The goal of the campaign was to foster positive body image with the hashtags #IAMALLWOMAN and #IAMPERFECT, according to an announcement.

The display featured a glass panel that concealed a 55-inch touchscreen.

"We used software designed and developed by the Moving Tactics Digital Impact team so that shoppers could take photos of themselves and then share them via various social media platforms. The GoPro camera was used to record photographic stills in the time lapse function so that the entire campaign could be viewed in a high-speed replay," Andy Higginbotham, creative director, Moving Tactics, said in the announcement.
