Laura Davis-Taylor, founder and principal of Retail Media Consulting LLC, is interviewed in the new issue of Pro AV Magazine. One of the questions posed to her is whether anyone is "getting it right" when it comes to using digital signage to its full potential in retail.
"No matter what flavor of retailer, the technology optimist will look for new opportunities," she replied. "Unfortunately, most are followers. This market needs a benchmark case study, someone who's doing it right and doing it well for his or her shopper needs. There is no true leader at this point. The problem is that retailers are unsure of how to execute it. Technology will transform shopping, it's just a matter of who will do it first."
