InfoSign Media, a visual communications company specializing in creating customizable, educational digital media content and the supporting networks for dental offices, has announced that the company has entered an agreement to provide M2L Media with its waiting room digital information content platform. M2L Media will roll out the information service into the Canadian eyecare industry this year under the brand MicoTV.
MicoTV was created in partnership with Infosign, and more than 500 dental clinics already use this system, which M2L is now exclusively offering. MicoTV by M2L focuses on a three-part partnership between the clinic, the suppliers and M2L. Thanks to this exclusive partnership, the system's technology and M2L'sexpertise in the eyecare industry, M2L can offer a turnkey service and manage all the steps to get the system up and running, from installation to producing the capsules to the sale of suppliers' messages, according to the announcement.
MicoTV will be made available on a subscription basis. The service is a proven method of informing patients about eye care products and services and how to prevent eye diseases, the company said. Research indicates that patients are inclined to request additional services once they have viewed these in office presentations.
"We knew that our service would appeal equally as much in other medical verticals like eye care," said Yves Corsi, president of InfoSign Media, in the announcement. "The agreement with M2L brings us together with a partner that knows that market segment extremely well and can roll out the service quickly and seamlessly."
Introduced in 2007, more than 500 dentists now subscribe to the InfoSign media service. InfoSign created all of the ServDentist TV content and the Web management interface which is available to subscribers on a 24/7 basis.
