Nsign, a digital signage software-as-a-service platform, has achieved certification under Spain's National Security Framework (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad, or ENS) at the Medium category.
ENS sets information security requirements for Spain's public sector and private suppliers within its scope. For digital signage providers, it is relevant to projects where public bodies require ENS compliance from the systems supporting their services. It also gives commercial customers an independent basis for assessing a supplier's security practices, according to a press release.
The certification covers the information systems supporting consulting, development, sales, maintenance and support services for nsign platform. It follows an external audit by a certification body accredited by ENAC, Spain's national accreditation body.
"Our customers trust us with a communication channel they rely on every day," Mónica Fernández, managing director of nsign, said in the release. "They need to know who can access it, how information is protected and how we maintain the service. ENS certification provides independent verification of how we manage that responsibility."
