BrightSign, nsign team on expanded deployment options

nsign and BrightSign have partnered to expand deployment options for digital signage networks.

The partnership strengthens nsign's expansion strategy in North America, enabling organizations to deploy the platform on selected BrightSign media players, including existing installations, according to a press release.

By supporting selected BrightSign media players, nsign can now be deployed on both new and existing BrightSign-based infrastructures, allowing organizations to adopt the platform without replacing previously installed hardware.

For AV integrators and channel partners, the integration expands the range of deployment scenarios available to customers.

"North America is a strategic market for nsign, and many of the retailers, restaurant chains and enterprise organizations we engage with already operate BrightSign-based networks," Mónica Fernández, managing director of nsign, said in the release.

Supporting BrightSign enables nsign to align more closely with the hardware choices already made by many of those partners and their customers.

The initial compatibility includes devices from the XT and LS Series. The XT Series is designed for demanding signage applications requiring advanced video, HTML5 and interactive capabilities, while the LS Series addresses essential digital signage requirements, including Full HD and 4K playback, widgets, animations and touchscreen engagement.

"Customers expect their CMS to work with the hardware they already trust," Teresa Rojas, chief technology and product officer at nsign, said in the release. "By making the full nsign feature set available on selected BrightSign players, we are giving integrators a more flexible way to deploy our CMS across different project sizes, from simple signage networks to more advanced, multi-site environments."
