Nevada hospital gets digital signage checkup

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada, recently installed digital signage screens throughout the hospital as part of its effort to 'continually improve engagement and communication with patients, staff and hospital visitors,' according to an announcement from digital signage provider MedCenterDisplay.

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada, recently installed digital signage screens throughout the hospital as part of its effort to "continually improve engagement and communication with patients, staff and hospital visitors," according to an announcement from digital signage provider MedCenterDisplay.

The digital engagement network is part of NNRH's relationship with MedCenterDisplay, the provider of digital signage systems for hospitals and health care providers. MedCenterDisplay said it also will work with NNRH in designing and developing custom internal messaging and information that will be displayed across the in-hospital signage network.

"We chose MedCenterDisplay because of their health care-specific knowledge and experience in our space," said Hope V. Cripps, director of business and community development for NNRH, in the announcement. "The digital signs have a wide variety of health-related information for all of our hospital visitors, staff and patients. Simple things like actions to take to help prevent the cold or flu, healthy recipes and even recommendations for keeping kids safe during Halloween are featured on the signs. MedCenterDisplay helps us to provide real-time health education as we work to achieve our mission of making communities healthier."
