NEC Display Solutions wins ICXA award for business intelligence platform

NEC Display Solutions of America has won an ICXA Elevate Award for its ALP Pro business intelligent platform at the ICX Summit, which took place from June 4 to 6 in Dallas. ICX designed the Elevate Awards to honor innovative solutions in the field of customer experience technology, according to a press release.

The judges selected the ALP platform due to its ability to craft personalized experiences with automated content creation based on triggers such as age, gender, events and the weather. The platform consists of hardware, software, cloud services, big data analytics and full API integration with certain digital signage content management systems, according to the release.

"It's an honor to receive the ICX Elevate Award for Best Emerging Technology because it validates our belief that combining AI and analytics is the future of retail digital signage," Rich Ventura, vice president of business strategy, NEC said in the release. "As a true business intelligence platform, ALP Pro delivers clearer and more actionable analytics and metrics for retail operators, which enables them to elevate the customer experience."
