Mvix releases updated CMS for digital signage

Mvix, a provider of digital signage solutions, has launched Mvix CMS, a cloud-based software focusing on device health management and system security, according to a company press release.

Mvix's goal is to enhance user experience and make digital signage management secure and efficient.

The CMS interface allows for a streamlined workflow and fewer steps to create and schedule content. The software is hosted on the Amazon AWS cloud for scalability and reliability.

The new version took over 14,000 development hours backed by a beta test period of over four months. With more than 1,000 professional design templates and 150 content app themes, it offers scheduling and device management.

"As a pioneer in the digital signage industry, Mvix continues its record of innovating early," Mike Kilian, EVP of Mvix, said in the release. "We are confident this new version will extend the boundaries of digital signage into remotely-managed audio, visual, and touch communication channels."

The platform also includes a health dashboard. The dashboard reports real-time diagnostic data from on-field devices, for preemptive troubleshooting for digital signage players. The updated version is compatible with third-party hardware (BrightSign, Android-based, mini PC-based, and Raspberry Pi-based players) and screens.
