Mvix debuts digital signage app for Amazon Fire TV Stick

Mvix, a provider of cloud-based digital signage solutions, has launched a digital signage app, the Mvix Andros App, according to a company press release. Available on the Amazon AppStore, the Andros App turns the Amazon Fire TV device into a digital signage player.

Powered by the cloud-based software SignageCreator, the app enables users to manage their digital signage screens remotely. SignageCreator offers hundreds of professionally designed digital signage templates accessible via a standard web-based browser, the release said. The software enables users to fully customize the templates and update them in real time via a drag-and-drop editor. The web-based signage editor has features such as image and text animations, image slideshows, template playlists and layer transparency.

• unlimited number of templates;
• professionally-designed and fully customizable templates;
• remote management and updates over the internet;
• dayparting and scheduling;
• click-and-edit to change text, prices, images, etc.;
• image slideshows with transition effects;
• template playlist with transition effects; and
• image animations, borders, shadows and opacity.

Mvix said Andros App is ideal for digital menu boards, employee communication in offices and guest engagement in the health care and hospitality industries.
