Mississippi outlet mall driving traffic with digital signage

The Tanger Outlets outlet shopping mall in Southaven, Mississippi, has deployed a new marquee sign featuring a 20-foot by 40-foot, high-resolution full-color LED digital signage display from Burton Signworks Inc. in North Carolina, according to an announcement from BSI.

The Tanger Outlets outlet shopping mall in Southaven, Mississippi, has deployed a new marquee sign featuring a 20-foot by 40-foot, high-resolution full-color LED digital signage display from Burton Signworks Inc. in North Carolina, according to an announcement from BSI.

"Tanger wanted to improve their visibility from the highway for their various tenants, and I believe we accomplished their vision...and more. The sign turned out great, and the large digital display is simply amazing to look at," said Jeff Smith, national account manager at BSI, in the announcement.

BSI said it is a custom sign manufacturer that prides itself on quality and performance. For the digital portion of this job, they turned to LED display manufacturer, Vantage LED, located in Ontario, California, which provided its 20 mm full-color Phoenix FLEX Series.

"Vantage has been a true partner in every project we have worked on that involves LED message centers," Smith said. "The knowledge of the sales reps is second to none. The support from corporate with cross-marketing pieces to diagnosis and troubleshooting is perfect."

Kyla Godden, regional sales manager for Vantage LED, said she was "very excited that we were able to work so closely between Burton Signworks and Tanger Outlets to develop one of the most stunning LED Displays in the Southeast."

According to the announcement, Tanger Outlets believes this new spectacular sign will bring even more excitement for shoppers driving in, and that having the outlet mall's fashions and ongoing sales advertised on the LED sign will bring in many impulse sales.
