MediaTile releases turnkey digital signage system for c-stores

July 26, 2007

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. — MediaTile, provider of cellular digital signage, announced the release of its turnkey narrowcast network platform for fuel stations which only requires power to deploy and operate. As with all of MediaTile's Digital-Sign-In-A-Box products, the MediaTile GasTV system eliminates the need for any on-site servers, network gear, on-site configuration and IT support personnel. MediaTile is now shipping units which are actively being deployed to licensed gas station TV network operators.

The MediaTile GasTV system is a pump-top unit that can easily be configured and deployed on a variety of different manufacturers and sizes of fuel pumping stations. Included in the design of the system is a sliding mount that can be "sized" to match the width of a pump station along with panels that flush-mount to the fascia to deliver an integrated look while offering robust security. The system also boasts a wide-screen 22-inch high-definition LCD display with stereo speakers.

MediaTile is currently working with a number of integrators, chains and narrowcasters in the US, Canada, Europe and Africa who already have signed client agreements for MediaTile's GasTV system.
