Matrox Graphics has announced that its Mura MPX Series controller boards will drive digital signage across two video installations at a high-profile London lingerie store, including a two-story video wall.
The company contracted with in-store multimedia solutions provider PlayNetwork to display digital content on the 30-monitor centerpiece wall and on a second, eight-monitor wall. Both will be powered by a mix of Matrox Mura MPX-4/4, Mura MPX-4/2, and Mura MPX-4/0 boards, with HD-resolution inputs and outputs and PCI Express x16 architecture, and controlled by a Matrox-compatible Crestron 2-Series Control System and rack-mounted Apple iPad. The set-up will facilitate dynamic content such as video feeds to fashion shows and behind-the-scenes commercial footage, the company said in a news release.
"The (video walls) contribute a great deal to the overall immersive customer experience," PlayNetwork EMEA managing director Dharmendra Patel said in the release. "Mura's flexible board design and the degree of control enabled through its Network API were key factors in the success of our installation."
