LobbyTV launches cloud-based digital signage for TVs

LobbyTV has launched its cloud-based digital signage solution to allow companies to turn TVs into digital signage. The service enables direct integration with Google Slides and Powerpoint, and allows users to live stream radio stations in the background, according to a press release.

The solution is designed to allow real-time updates to multiple displays. Companies, such as hotel lobbies, can purchase lobbyTV as a service for a monthly fee.

"When we began researching the applications for digital signage software, we found that the fear of technology and the cost to produce content was the driving force in preventing the adoption of this technology," Bhuvan Pasham, founder and CEO, lobbyTV "Our goal was to solve these problems and make digital signage readily available and cost-effective for businesses of all sizes. Through plug and play technology and the integration of common slideshow tools, we have created a platform that anyone can easily use and effectively eliminated the need for technical installation."
