Kochava partners with Cuebiq to measure OOH effectiveness in driving app downloads

Kochava Inc., a real-time mobile data solutions provider, is teaming up with consumers insights company Cuebiq to provide to provide key data into OOH campaign effectiveness. Cuebiq will integrate its location intelligent with Kochava's mobile installation data to uncover how well OOH campaigns drive mobile app downloads, according to a press release.

Through the partnership, end users can uncover dwell time and audience segments data by directly capturing device data that passes by billboards within certain times of day. Companies can then compare the time when the app was installed to discover if a users installed the app because of seeing an OOH advertisement.

"By connecting the devices that physically passed a billboard within a specific time range, and comparing device location with those devices that installed within a set time frame, we can fairly accredit an app install to an OOH ad," Charles Manning, CEO, Kochava, said in the release. "Our partnership with Cuebiq provides accurate install time measurement for marketers to better understand how their out-of-home media is performing."

Kochava's mobile attribution analytics tracking also helps markets measure user behavior and re-engage users on their devices.

Cuebiq users must opt in to share data from their devices, and the platform is compliant with both the California Consumer Privacy Act and General Data Protection Regulation, according to the release.
