JCDecaux Singapore unveils selfie Absolut DOOH campaign
JCDecaux Singapore, an outdoor advertiser, recently unveiled a live social feed DOOH campaign for Absolut, a vodka brand at Singapore Changi Airport. The campaign encouraged users to upload a selfie of themselves online along with travel tips, and the campaign would feature these photos on 57 displays throughout the airport, according to a press release.
JCDecaux deployed 85-inch displays around the airport, which grab the selfie content from the Absolut website. Users also submit their name, age, city and their recommendations for eating, drinking and staying in their home city. The selfies also feature various themed backdrops with this information as well as flights departing to the user's home city, according to the release.
"As the first of its kind, we're excited to launch this unique digital campaign with JCDecaux, using smart technology to add to the celebration of togetherness that surrounds the launch of Absolut World. It is the ideal platform to defy the distances between us and carve out new connections across international borders while truly enhancing the travel experience," Lisa McCann, brand director for Absolute, Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, said in the release.
