Brussels-based digital media and signage specialist iDklic announced it has won the contract for a new network of 260 independent pharmacies in Belgium, all of them clients of the Belmedis group, Belgium's second biggest wholesaler distributor.
The company said it will operate the network as well as handle advertising sales on this project that launched on Nov. 1, and which will see nearly all 260 pharmacies equipped by June 1.
Since 2006, iDklic has focused the largest part of its activities in the pharmaceutical industry, according to the announcement. The company said its expertise in this field is one of the many reasons why Belmedis chose to partner with it.
The company's PharmaSeen TV, which allows each pharmacist to operate and program his/her own screen via iDklic's dedicated web-based platform, was created specifically for the pharmacy market, and has been deployed in more than 1,300 Pharmacies across continental Europe. The solution also is now in operation across 150 Irish pharmacies and 50 pharmacies in Luxembourg, the company said.
The pharmacist has access to a wide range of content (advertising, health-related thematics, customizable templates, weather forecast and much more) that enables them to fully personalize playlists and promote offers, events and specialties.
