IBASE wins Computex 'Buyer's Choice' award for digital signage video wall player

Industrial motherboard and embedded systems manufacturer iBASE Technology Inc. has won the Buyer's Choice Best Choice Award at this year's Computex IT trade show in Taiwan, with its SI-60E super-high 8K video wall player, the company announced.

Industrial motherboard and embedded systems manufacturer iBASE Technology Inc. has won the Buyer's Choice Best Choice Award at this year's Computex IT trade show in Taiwan, with its SI-60E super-high 8K video wall player, the company announced. There are 41 BC Award winning products in all that participated in the online buyer's choice voting campaign from May 28 to June 6, the company said.

The SI-60E is a digital signage player built for multiscreen video wall display applications that supports up to 12 display outputs featuring IBASE Multiple-Display Matrix Technology and offers 3D graphics performance with resolutions up to 7680 x 3600, the company said. This year, Scala solution sales partner TechMedia created the content that drove the 12-screen video wall at the show.

Australia-based TechMedia, a Scala certified partner for almost 20 years, used Scala Designer to create the display's real-time content, animation, overlay and transparency in 2K x 12K resolution. Scala Content Manager and Scala Player 10.5.5 powered the display wall.
