Toronto-based interactive mobile advertising solutions provider iSIGN Media Solutions Inc. and its Australian distributor and reseller, JEA Technologies Pty Ltd., announced today that they are working with Fujitsu Australia, a provider of digital media solutions to retail, banking, transport and commercial industry segments in Australia and New Zealand.

JEA and Fujitsu are currently running pilot programs with two Fujitsu clients. These programs are focused on the gathering of data, including traffic at store entrances and in front of the digital signs located in the clients' establishments.

"The analytics from these installations have exceeded both Fujitsu's and the clients' expectations," JEA Director Craig Kinder said in the announcement.

And Fujitsu has recently purchased and taken delivery of two additional Smart Antennas for further retail digital signage use by its clients, according to the announcement.

"Fujitsu and their clients recognize the advantages that iSIGN's Smart Antennas offer over beacons and apps," Kinder said. "Fujitsu has stated that their clients are looking for hard real data, in order to calculate ROI, which is the real strength of iSIGN's technology. Fujitsu is looking to use iSIGN's technology and the analytics delivered by iSIGN to enhance their digital signage model for clients and to generate new retail sales. We believe that over time, Fujitsu will become a major client of ours."

"The ongoing acceptance of our technology and hardware by Fortune 500 companies and brands shows that our solution continues to gain credibility and traction," iSIGN CEO Alex Romanov said in the announcement.
