Florida cinema installs digital movie posters

ATLANTA — Premiere Theatres' Oaks 10 Theater, located in Melbourne, Fla., has completed installation of Allure Global Solutions' Digital Box Office (‘Digi-Box') and Digital Menu Board Solution. The Allure Global DigiBox solution displays digital movie posters with movie times and ratings in full motion graphics.

Integration to the theater's POS system for real-time data provides show-times and feature information such as title, ratings, run-time, sold-out and cancelled notifications. The Allure Global system is scalable from single to multi-screen and variable size of display based upon the configuration of the theater. Motion-graphic messages are all managed through a central server.

"We are excited to be the first theater in the country to have the Allure Digital Box Office and Digital Menu Board products installed simultaneously," said Rob Kurrus, president of Premiere Theaters. "Not only do they make our point of purchase area come alive, but they allow for real-time changes and revisions in prices, movies, show times, menu board content and promotions. The Allure products have given us a 50-foot-long digital canvas that allows us to quickly and easily promote our products."
