Display manufacturer introduces touchable, transparent OLED displays

Display manufacturer eyevis has introduced its EYE-TOLED-5500-TIGF40, a transparent OLED display with a 55-inch screen diagonal and an InGlass touch surface for up to 40 simultaneous touch points, according to a company press release. The high transmissivity of the panel and the self-luminous properties of the OLED material allows for installation in the center of interior designs, anywhere between objects and viewers, in front of exhibits and products that require illustrations.

The InGlass touch system provides a plane surface without protruding bezels. In addition to the control of interactive content, the surface enables simple cleaning and the installation of the displays in highly frequented public areas, the release stated.

With digital content created specifically for the EYE-TOLED-5500-TIGF40 it is possible to lead a viewer's attention between the background, or transparent display content, and display, or luminous display content, creating depth.
