Digital signage goes to the salon

Digital signage kiosks and salon management software by Salon Target were featured at the recent International Beauty Show in New York City, according to salontoday.com.

The heart of the solution is the company's patented touchscreen kiosk, which creates a personalized stream of infotainment content, digital advertising and product and service promotions throughout the appointment, the article reported.

"Nowhere else in the world of digital signage can a business target their advertisements with such pinpoint accuracy," said Salon Target's co-founder, Anthony Masciarelli. "Local business owners immediately see the value in this new marketing channel, creating a sizable revenue stream for the salon."
