Symon Dacon Ltd., now trading as RMG Networks Ltd., announced it is celebrating being named winners of a Queen's Award for Enterprise — which it says is "the most prestigious award available to U.K. businesses." Having received the award for success in International Trade, the award is also in recognition of Symon Dacon's three consecutive years of success in digital signage, achieving substantial growth and making a great contribution toward the British economy, the company said.
"Being recognized by such an honorable award for our efforts in international trade is a cause for celebration," said Daniel Horgan, managing director at RMG Networks Ltd. "The Queen's Award for Enterprise recognizes the many achievements of our organization and likewise our employees over many years, particularly in terms of our impressive growth as a visual communications provider, our development of international partnerships and the outstanding delivery of our products and services."
Following a merger in April with RMG Networks, Symon Dacon now forms RMG Enterprise Solutions, a business unit of the new combined company. With this merger, RMG Networks is one of the largest digital signage companies in the industry, providing both enterprise-class digital signage solutions and digital out-of-home advertising via airlines and shopping malls, according to the announcement.
"RMG Networks is tremendously honored to be recognized for its contribution to international trade. The new RMG Networks will continue to invest in product development and services that enable us to offer end-to-end digital signage solutions and deliver value and innovation throughout the world to our customers and their facilities," said Garry McGuire, CEO at RMG Networks. "We are very proud of the growth of this company and look forward to many more achievements to come."
