Digital signage and on-hold messaging platform continues expansion

The Riverside Company announced it has completed the third and fourth add-ons to its Spectrio platform of on-hold messaging and digital signage managed services with investments in TMS Audio Productions and Vital Media of Charlotte, which specializes in serving the automotive market.

The Riverside Company announced it has completed the third and fourth add-ons to its Spectrio platform of on-hold messaging and digital signage managed services with investments in TMS Audio Productions of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Vital Media of Charlotte, North Carolina, which specializes in serving the automotive market.

TMS provides on-hold and messaging and marketing services for more than 400 customers, primarily in the health care and financial industries. Vital Media serves roughly 1,700 customers, mainly in automotive sales and automotive service markets. It offers on hold services, graphic screens at point of purchase, and waiting room TV messaging.

"We're excited about adding TMS to Spectrio's growing customer base, and this transaction provides access to Spectrio's broader product and service line for existing TMS customers," Riverside Partner Peter Tsang said in the announcement. "The addition of Vital Media strengthens Spectrio's position in the automotive space, where we anticipate continued growth … Spectrio offers a compelling value proposition, and we are delighted with the progress we've made in expanding the company and its capabilities."

The company said Vital Media presents a "compelling" opportunity for Spectrio to deepen customer relationships and expand in the automotive sector.

Riverside also said Spectrio has "grown nicely" since Riverside acquired it in 2014 and that the firm continues to explore avenues for growth both organically and through add-on acquisitions.

Spectrio is a national provider of on-hold messaging and digital signage managed services designed to allow clients to deliver targeted marketing messages in a variety of ways. Spectrio clients have access to a comprehensive offering that includes content creation, professional production of audio or visual content, installation and network management services.
