Pilot aims to streamline Cinépolis USA's digital signage and provide additional revenue streams.

Movie theater chain Cinépolis USA and in-theater digital signage solutions provider Cinema Scene Marketing announced today the pilot phase of Cinema Scene's digital signage package at the Cinépolis Westlake 8 in Westlake Village, California, is underway.
Cinépolis USA is part of Cinépolis, the cinema exhibition company operating 538 cinema complexes, 4,546 digital screens and more than 833,556 seats worldwide. Cinépolis entered the U.S. market in 2011, debuting its "Luxury Cinema" concept that included fully reclining leather seats, in-theater dining and waiter service, gourmet menu with full bar, elegant lobby spaces and cutting-edge sound and projection technology. Today, it currently operates 11 theaters nationwide with a total of seven cinemas and 64 screens in Southern California, and four cinemas with 46 screens in Florida.
Cinema Scene provided the installation, content management and ongoing software servicing for the pilot. According to the announcement, Cinépolis hopes to expand the partnership to other domestic locations once the pilot is completed.
