Out-of-home advertising firm Cieslok Media has switched to the Scala digital signage platform to manage its growing number of large-format digital billboards across Canada, according to an announcement from Dot2Dot Communications, the Canadian Master Distributor of Scala.
According to the announcement, Cieslok was looking for a stable platform with robust functionality to handle full-motion high-definition videos and sophisticated scripts that will allow for two-way interaction with its LED billboards. The company landed on Scala Enterprise Content Manager together with Scala Designer, the announcement said.
"As Canada's leading premium OOH company we pride ourselves on delivering quality content on the best media assets, amplifying brand messages and captivating audiences," Cieslok Media President and CEO Jörg Cieslok said in the announcement. "As we grow our digital inventory it's become clear there is a need for a cutting-edge platform to support advertisers with relevant creative content that can also engage with audiences … We believe Dot2Dot Communications with Scala is that platform."
In recent months Cieslok has upgraded two existing digital displays with new high-contrast, rich-color digital screens, and converted a static backlit sign to reportedly the largest vertical full-motion digital billboard in Canada, the announcement said.
"This is an exciting time for OOH and what can be done with these spectacular digital boards," Dot2Dot Communications General Manager Andy McRae said. "We're honored to be working with an outdoor specialist like Cieslok to help elevate their product offering with technology that pushes the limits for brands to deliver interactive campaigns."
