Big screens keep getting bigger, in both plasma and LCD varieties

Couriermail.com.au: U.K.-based PSCo. announced it now has the Panasonic 103-inch plasma screen available for rent and purchase. As large as a queen-sized bed, the screen "may require structural work to your home if you wish to wall mount it." But the company is chiefly aiming at commercial customers, namely AV rental companies.

Meanwhile, Sharp debuted its 108-inch LCD display last week in Sydney. "It is said in Buddhism that human beings have 108 worldly desires," said Sharp corporate executive director Takashi Nakagawa. "This TV satisfies all of those worldly desires."
