Australian alpine resort promises winter getaway in DOOH campaign

Falls Creek, an alpine resort in Victoria, Australia, is teaming up with APN Outdoor for a DOOH winter campaign. APN Outdoor deployed several displays on Melbourne's busiest roads to inform people about Falls Creek, according to a press release.

The company deployed its Elite Screens on the roads and its LED XtrackTV display in the city loop. XtrackTV is designed with directional sound capabilities to display the weather report at Falls Creek. The Elite Screens also use an RSS feed and temperature trigger to inform commuters of the latest skiing conditions.

"We are extremely excited to partner with APN Outdoor on the innovative 'Escape the Melbourne Weather; campaign. Falls Creek at its heart is all about celebrating alpine life with friends and family in a unique ski-in ski-out resort," Sophie Webber, senior marketing manager, Falls Creek, said in the release. "By connecting with families, ski and snowboard enthusiasts and those who want to explore the best of Falls Creek, we’re confident the campaign will deepen their connections with the snow and inspire them with a winter getaway."
