InfoComm13: The art of digital signage in pictures, Pt. II

DS made a splash at the show with highlights in vibrant displays, software, hardware and 3D mapping projection tech.

June 28, 2013

At this year's InfoComm A/V trade show in Orlando, Fla., digital signage made its presence felt from one end of the show floor in the Orange County Convention Center to the other.

While digital signage solution providers had displays, content and hardware galore, even non-digital signage companies were making good use of the technology to showcase their offerings — all of which made for great pictures of the technology in action.

Software, media player and mounting solution providers also worked to find captivating ways to hawk their wares.

While we concentrated on the digital signage providers, the pictures in our slideshows showcase some of the significant trends in this dynamic medium. (We took so many, in fact, that we had to break it up into two photo galleries. Click here for part one.)

Some companies that provide the content management software (or mounting hardware) that sits behind the scenes had to find interesting ways to capture attention.

Also, one of the highlights of the show was the variety of projection technology and 3D mapping displays on hand at the show, possibly presaging some interesting deployments and use cases for the technology in the year ahead?
