Crimson AV is a digital signage and mounting solutions provider with a growing portfolio of products.
William Bear, VP of sales and marketing at Crimson AV, joined Daniel Brown, editor at Digital Signage Today, at the Crimson AV booth during InfoComm to share how the digital signage firm continues to evolve.
While Crimson AV has 30 years of experience in providing AV mounting solutions, Bear explained that Crimson AV is no longer merely "the mount guys;" while that is the company's core expertise, with an established track record of success, the team is moving into new spaces.
For example, Crimson AV has launched single-sided and back-to-back all-in-one kiosk solutions for daily use in a variety of applications, with optional touch capacity. The kiosks are designed as single-SKU solutions for simplicity and flexibility, with full integration and an included Android media player and designed for extremely simply installation. Connectivity options include USB, Wi-Fi, and HDMI (which supports customers who wish to use media players such as BrightSign). Target use cases include retail and wayfinding for corporate and hospital environments.
Crimson AV is also making a push into the LED space, but with a unique approach that includes a sister company, the LED Experts Group, which aims to approach LED displays and mounting solutions without falling into a one-size-fits-all mindset.
Additional announcements included a universal kiosk shell, designed to fit any 55-inch display (larger sizes, including 65-inches, are available as well), as well as a second-generation WMLU unistrut menu board product.
One of the core strategies Crimson AV employs in all its products is to design products that are friendly for installers, and the company believes in listening to customers and adapting in response to feedback to continuously develop products and solutions.
