Wireless Ronin digital signage invades Mall of America

July 21, 2010

Wireless Ronin Technologies Inc., a Minneapolis-based digital signage provider, announced recently that it has completed the first stage of the RoninCast digital signage deployment with Leroy Signs, the sign vendor for Mall of America, the nation's largest retail and entertainment complex.

The Mall of America's new Southside Renovation will feature 20 RoninCast digital signs and is part of the advertising monument signage program which includes the installation of RoninCast digital signage as part of their overall renovation plans. In addition to providing the hardware and software, Wireless Ronin will monitor the network health and deploy, create and schedule content as needed for this program.

The screens will be arrayed throughout the mall and will be highly visible to all passing foot traffic. Featuring advertising for Mall of America stores, restaurants and entertainment venues as well as special events, the system will ensure that Mall of America guests get the most from their shopping, dining and entertainment experience with up to the minute information, the release says. Once the renovations are completed, Wireless Ronin will have installed throughout the Mall of America.

"We are excited to have new digital signage in place on our South Avenue. These signs fit in well with the recent renovation of the area." said Mike Tvrdik, Senior Director of Sponsorship, Mall of America. "Top-of-mind awareness is crucial to our success, and this cutting edge signage fits with our strategy. Working with Wireless Ronin Technologies has been a good experience and we can't wait to see the results."
