Virtual assistant offers checkpoint assistance at Barcelona airport

The Barcelona-El-Prat Airport in Spain recently deployed a virtual assistant at its security gates using BrightSign's HD1023 media player. Users can receive key information from the virtual man on the security process, according to a press release.

The airport is using this virtual assistant to provide a smoother security gate process and to create a better customer experience for passengers. Its virtual assistant offers security messages in Catalan, Castilian Spanish, Russian, English and Chinese.

BrightSign's HD1023 player is designed for HTML5 applications, and it offers H.265 decoding.
