The Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, Georgia, recently worked with integrator Owen Security Solutions to deploy digital signage from LG Business Solutions USA. LG provided multiple displays including a 15-foot-wide by 8.5-foot-tall, 2.5mm pixel pitch direct view LED video wall, according to a press release.
The museum uses this video wall to promote events, marketing content and offer thank you messages to visitors and benefactors. It used a Peerless-AV's SEAMLESS custom flat video wall mount to mount the video wall, according to the release.
"The LED video wall has become a center of attention, not only because it is mounted in the Great Hall where our four gallery rooms branch off, but also because it's such a stunning piece of technology that many visitors haven't seen before," Jason Woodside, A/V manager, Tellus, said in the release. "Along with 16 flat panel displays from LG, the LED video wall allows us to connect with students through an exciting digital canvas we can use to present any kind of content."
In addition to the video wall, LG also provided video walls for banquet rooms as well as displays for the cafe and reception desk. At the desk, two displays mirror the content on the main LED video wall, while the other two show ticket and membership prices. At the cafe, three displays provide menu content while the other mirror the main LED video wall.
