The Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, Calif., installed Lilitab iPad kiosks for personal listening stations to encourage interaction with their current exhibit, "The Harp — A Global Story of Man, Music and Medicine," according to an announcement from Lilitab.
Part of the challenge with the project was finding exciting, ever-changing content to share with visitors, but with limited resources to bring everything to the best light, the announcement said. With The Harp exhibit, Lilitab iPad kiosks were designed to encourage exploration of sound samples and also placed throughout the museum for newsletter sign-up and survey stations.
"The kiosks have a clean, elegant design that complements our exhibits and displays very nicely. Lilitab's ability to securely display and provide just the right amount of access to the iPad was the perfect solution to our exhibit needs," B.J. Morgan, marketing manager at the Museum of Making Music, said in the announcement.
