Stingray acquires Canadian digital signage firm Groupe Viva

Stingray, a business-to-business multiplatform music product and service provider, has acquired Groupe Viva, a provider of digital signage solutions for businesses throughout Canada, according to an announcement from Stingray.

Stingray, a business-to-business multiplatform music product and service provider, has acquired Groupe Viva, a provider of digital signage solutions for businesses throughout Canada, according to an announcement from Stingray.

For More than 12 years, Groupe Viva has developed digital solutions for retailers, restaurants, hotels, tourism associations and other lines of business, the announcement said, building a solid reputation for providing clients with an array of audio and video solutions, supported by a solid technical infrastructure and brought to life by creative content.

"We are thrilled to add the solutions developed by Groupe Viva to the core offering of Stingray Business, in order to deliver an even more complete end-to-end-service for our commercial clients," Stingray President and CEO Eric Boyko said in the announcement. "The acquisition of Groupe Viva enhances the position of Stingray Business as the one-stop provider for the best music and innovative digital solutions, the most important elements to achieve successful customer experiences."

Groupe Viva, headquartered in Boisbriand, Q.C., services major clients in Quebec and throughout Canada such as Les rôtisseries St-Hubert, Jean Coutu, Molson Coors, Mont-Tremblant and Sport Expert, the announcement said.
