Static sign supplier continues move into digital signage with installation partnership

Full-line electrical and digital sign and graphics supplier N. Glantz & Son has broadened its digital signage portfolio with iTeam on-site installation and support services, according to a company announcement.

The partnership will enable sign shop dealers to extend their technical and geographic reach without having to invest in new staff, the company said.

A provider of technology service management for distributed enterprises, iTeam Inc. partnered with N. Glantz & Son LLC to provide digital signage rollout services. ITeam will provide digital signage installation and support services to N. Glantz's sign dealer customers, using iTeam's service-as-a-product approach and proprietary iPlatform system. With this new partnership, N. Glantz is now providing sign dealers with access to expert professional digital signage installation and support services for their customers nationwide.

"Digital signage is one of the fastest growing technologies in the market today," said Joe Hartman, co-CEO of N. Glantz & Son, in the announcement. "Our digital signage initiative makes leading technology, services and expertise immediately available to more than 15,000 of our sign dealer customers. Our partnership with iTeam is especially important to sign dealers who are new to digital signage, and those with experience who win bids for large signage rollouts in multiple geographies on tight deadlines. While deploying digital signage solutions can be time-consuming, complex work for traditional sign company personnel, the experts at iTeam serve as an extension of a sign dealer's team, going on-site nationwide to install solutions on their behalf."

With it service-as-a-product approach, iTeam provides packaged outsourcing of digital signage installation and support services. Invented by iTeam, the SaaP process transforms complex installation processes into packaged products, the company said. It combines productized installation services; processes to anticipate and accommodate site-to-site environmental variations; dedicated iTeam Service Advisors to manage every installation event; a proven nationwide network of high quality field installers; and visibility and control provided by iTeam's iPlatform software. N. Glantz & Son's state-of-the-art digital signage technology offering and iTeam's Service-as-a-Product approach will make large-scale deployments predictable and cost-efficient, and will virtually eliminate the unexpected delays and cost overruns often associated with larger scale distributed deployments, the companies said.
