Spectacular Media has released a new upgrade to its SM Infinity Cloudware Service giving its U.S.-based digital signage clients access to automated alerts for local, regional and federal notifications through the Integrated Public Alert Warning System developed by FEMA.
Spectacular Media, a cloudware and digital advertising firm headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, with offices in Colorado and California, has announced its recent release of an IPAWS-compatible emergency alert system for digital signage systems.
"We worked closely with FEMA over the last year to incorporate their Integrated Public Alert Warning System in our SM Infinity platform. Digital signage is everywhere! It has the potential to really make an impact on community safety across the country and we felt it was important to support this for all SM Infinity-powered displays. Now, organizations can display alerts from local, regional and federal organizations to protect the community and potentially save lives," said Scott Hofheins, special ops Texas director of Spectacular Media, in the announcement. "It's simple and completely automated."
